Part 1: The Basics

1. What is your full name?
Vicomte Adrien Donatien de Moulins

2. Where and when were you born?
I was born in Moulins, France on December 21, 1537

3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
My father was Vicomte Auguste Benoît de Moulins. He was a poor, rural noble who spent more of his time drinking than overseeing his land. He had a nasty disposition when drunk. He got too drunk one day and died of alcohol poisoning.

My mother was Anne-Marie Victoire de Moulins. She was the daughter of a lesser noble who lived just outside of Paris. I have very few memories of her. I know that she had to run the house, and often saved me from my father's temper, but she died when I was nine years old. Cancer.

4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
Jean-Paul was my oldest brother. He fancied himself in charge of the rest of us. He had no time for me. He thought me useless because of my sight problems.

André was the second-oldest brother. He frequently teased and bullied me.

Élise was my older sister. She was married to a Paris noble just before our father died.

Colette was my younger sister. She died when she was five years old. Like me, she was a pale, frail child. Childhood sickness took her.

5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
I just moved (again). The FBI returned my cabin in the mountains above Los Angeles, and so I live up there when I am not working. I have an apartment in the city, but I prefer the cabin for its solitude.

6. What is your occupation?
I had a promotion of sorts *small smile* While I am still very much connected with the Mafia, I am now CEO of Frost Industries.

7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
I am 5'4" tall and 120 lbs. The social class I was born into was fairly inbred, and so I was born with albinism. My skin is very pale and burns easily. My hair is naturally a pure white. My eyes are blue, not red, but due to their lack of pigment and a few malformed nerves, my eyesight is poor, for a vampire. It was much worse as a child. I would have been considered legally blind in the current century. I usually prefer to wear comfortable clothes. Jeans, tee shirt, leather jacket, and boots, all good for hiding my knives in. Lately, I have been forced to dress better for work, and so I have a few well-tailored suits that I wear. I have no tattoos and only a few scars from my childhood.

8. To which social class do you belong?
I used to belong to the French nobility, before the Revolution. My title has officially been dead for close to four hundred years, though, and so I live as any other rich American.

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
My eyesight is poor, for a vampire. When I was a child, it would likely have been 20/200 or so, but becoming a vampire did help to correct the abnormal nerve connections a little, and so my eyesight now is closer to 20/60.

I am also afflicted by Paranoid Schizophrenia and have been since I was young. Many of my other mental problems can be attributed to the method in which I was made a vampire and my sire's lineage, but the paranoid schizophrenia ran in my family.

10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Left-handed

11. What does your voice sound like?
If you have ever heard Kiefer Sutherland, imagine him with a slight French accent.

12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
I do occasionally use French words or phrases in my speech. I don't have to. I have been in America well over a hundred years and I speak perfect English. It's habit.

13. What do you have in your pockets?
Knives, mostly.

14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
People, even other vampires, are defined by whether they are prey or not. Thus, I tend to make the prey nervous. I guess I stare. Oh well.

Also, I tend to touch or fiddle with my knives when I'm nervous or annoyed. Old habit. From experience, things that scare me or piss me off are best dealt with by killing them.

Part 2: Growing Up

15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
In a word? Crappy. The albinism defined my childhood. Priests thought I'd been possessed, my father had no time for me due to my weak eyesight, and my brothers constantly tormented me.

16. What is your earliest memory?
Sitting at my mother's side, listening to her tell me stories.

17. How much schooling have you had?
I had a private tutor when I was young. I learned Latin, grammar, and math. I have since learned quite a bit more. I'm not a scholar, but I've found that knowledge is often useful.

18. Did you enjoy school?
No. Absolutely not. Reading gave me headaches and so I usually protested or just skipped lessons.

19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
I enjoyed hunting when I was younger. Once I was turned, hunting my sire became my prime focus and a great motivator to learn more about killing and causing pain.

20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.
My mother. She was always so calm. I'm not sure how she did it.

21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
No. Once my mother died, we were often at odds.

22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
What I wanted to be didn't matter. As the youngest son of a poor noble, there wasn't much I'd be able to do.

23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?
Fishing was fun, as was riding one of my father's horses. I was fairly decent at carving and carved a flute. I was probably better at carving it than playing it.

24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?
Angry? Jealous? Impatient? All of the above? I got into a lot of trouble, and if I were to be honest, I caused a lot of the tension between me and my family.

25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?
No, I wasn't. I played with my brothers and sometimes the servants' children, but very few wanted me around for long.

26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
One of the servants' daughters. I forget her name. I was barely 15 at the time.

27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?
Non, definitely not. I lost my virginity with the servant's daughter, in our barn. To be honest, the experience was disappointing.

28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
It was an accident. My sire had been causing trouble for me, pushing me deeper into madness, and was planning on killing my children. I came home early from hunting and caught him. He tried to kill me, but I was able to bite him to try to get him to get off me. I ingested too much of his blood. He didn't realize it and fled. I was left with my children in our home. When I woke a vampire, I was maddened with hunger and killed my children. I still haven't forgiven my sire for that.

Part 3: Past Influences

29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
Becoming a vampire.

30. Who has had the most influence on you?
My family. Not just my parents and siblings, but my wife and children as well.

31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Hmm. I'd say I haven't achieved it yet. I'm still trying to capture and kill my sire. However, there were a couple killings in Florida that were quite the spectacle.

32. What is your greatest regret?
Consciously? Killing my children. Subconsciously? My wife's death.

33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
...Damn. What to choose? I'd say killing my children. The rest of the murders, I do not regret. Those four, I do.

34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?
Yes. A long one, actually, if police were to connect all my murders from the past four hundred years. They haven't.

35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
When I was a child. My brother Jean-Paul got me lost in the woods and I couldn't see well enough to find the house through the trees. I eventually found my way back by accident.

36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
*blush* Umm. Not going to talk about that.

37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
I would have figured out a way to save my mother. I miss her.

38. What is your best memory?
"Dinner" on the Rhine with Roman, back when we first met.

39. What is your worst memory?
The death of my children.

Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions

40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
Pessimistic. It's always safer to expect the worst to happen.

41. What is your greatest fear?
Death.

42. What are your religious views?
I was raised Roman Catholic. It has been a very long time since I practiced it.

43. What are your political views?
I don't really care about human politics. As far as vampire politics go, however, I am for whatever side gives me the most power.

44. What are your views on sex?
It is irrelevant most of the time, and often creates emotional attachment that others love to exploit. When I find someone trustworthy enough to have true, non-violent sex with, it is a very rare occurrence.

45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
Death is easy. Killing is easy. When it's unacceptable? When the person is useful to me, or more rarely, when I care about the person.

46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?
Betrayal.

47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
*snorts* No. Hormones cause that. Nothing more.

48. What do you believe makes a successful life?
Power, money. Getting my way. I'm good at it.

49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?
Not very. People tend to exploit others' true feelings, and so I often hide mine. I don't often share, and when I am betrayed, I do not forgive easily.

50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
People are untrustworthy. Also, those that can't stand up to me don't deserve to be treated as equals. People who are afraid are prey.

51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?
Under any circumstances? I can't promise that. I'd do quite a bit for my own survival.

52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?
One I cared about.

Part 5: Relationships With Others

53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
It depends on who they are. Prey is prey. Hardly worth the effort to be polite to unless it would advance my own purpose. Equals are to be watched. Carefully. Those I care about I am polite and even friendly to.

54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
Pepper. Not going to talk about it.

55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
Huh. Hmmm. Nope, I don't have an answer for this one.

56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people.
Friends. Friends...hmmmm.

57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person.
I had a wife. I used to have a lover. Both died. Pepper is still alive, but that is currently in question. I do not tolerate betrayal.

58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
Yes. I was foolish. End of story.

59. What do you look for in a potential lover?
Trustworthiness. Ability to stand up for her/himself.

60. How close are you to your family?
They are dead.

61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?
They are dead too.

62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?
Probably Pepper, though I'd hate myself for it.

63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?
No.

64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?
Probably a few people would feel safer sleeping at night.

65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why?
My sire. And I've already explained why.

66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
I manipulate people.

67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
Yes.

68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?
Not really. Too many people to keep track of.

69. Do you care what others think of you?
Yes. Reputation is important for accomplishing my goals.

Part 6: Likes And Dislikes

70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?
I still enjoy hunting, though my prey is different now. I collect bladed weapons. I also enjoy some types of music.

71. What is your most treasured possession?
A necklace I gave to my wife when we were married.

72. What is your favorite color?
Red.

73. What is your favorite food?
*raised eyebrow* I am a vampire. Blood, of course. Of course blood is always better when the victim is afraid and in pain.

74. What, if anything, do you like to read?
The classics. Some modern mysteries or horror books. Books written by modern women are frequently drivel. *yawn* Take Twilight, for example. Or the Anita Blake series. Both a waste of time.

75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
*laughing* Perhaps a concert. Maybe.

76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?
No.

77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
Hunting.

78. What makes you laugh?
Humor? It really depends.

79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?
*snorts* Overly flamboyant gay men are offensive. My former lover was male, and I am certain I never acted like that.

80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
*laughing* I'm certain I could find someone something to do.

81. How do you deal with stress?
Not well.

82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?
I always have a plan. Perhaps not always a well-thought out plan, but I never do things for no reason.

83. What are your pet peeves?
There are too many to list. Suffice to say annoying people annoy me. And I don't deal with annoyance well.

Part 7: Self Images And Etc.

84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?
Wake up around sunset. Find something to eat. Shower. Work. Perhaps take time to feed how I prefer to feed (that is, torture someone, nice and slow). Sleep. It's not a complicated routine. Often, it varies.

85. What is your greatest strength as a person?
Intelligence. I understand why people do the things they do. I am often able to plan a step ahead of my opponents.

86. What is your greatest weakness?
I tend to underestimate those I discount as weak.

87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Perhaps I'd wish for more patience.

88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
Extroverted.

89. Are you generally organized or messy?
Organized.

90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
Things I'm good at? Planning. Manipulating others. Killing.

Things I'm bad at? Forgiveness. Relationships in general. Working towards someone else's goal.

91. Do you like yourself?
Of course.

92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that  characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)
I DO have some morals. Granted they are flexible and I break them if I have to, to accomplish what needs to be done, but There are some things I try not to compromise on. Not that I'd tell anyone. I prefer people to think I have no morals. It's far easier to intimidate people that way.

93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
Kill...no destroy....no, completely BREAK my sire.

94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Perhaps a new town, still working for the mob, but in a much more secure position than I am now.

95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
Quickly.

96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.
Change Pepper and watch her kill Deacon Frost. Kill Pepper. Hmmm. Perhaps instead of killing Frost, try to change him.

97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
I am dangerous. I would be quite upset if that was forgotten.

98. What three words best describe your personality?
Often amused. Mercurial. Sly.

99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?
Dangerous. Temperamental. Murderous.

100. If you could, what advice would you, the protagonist give to your antagonist? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...)
Do NOT get in my way, mon ami. You won't like the results.
